Bond Hearing Notice 2020
LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Roslyn Water District will hold a Public Hearing via a Zoom meeting, on January 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM, to consider additions to and improvements to the facilities of the Roslyn Water District as follows: 1,4-Dioxane and PFAS treatment at Plant No.4, 1,4-Dioxane treatment at Plant No.8, PFAS treatment at Plant No.5, Fuel Oil Tank Replacement at Pant Nos. 1,5 and 6, Generator installation at Plant No.3, Additional related capital improvements for emergency contaminant treatment and water main and Distribution System Upgrades as described in detail in the engineering report dated August 2020, prepared by H2M Architects and Engineers, duly licensed by the State of New York, on behalf of the District, at the estimated maximum cost of $33,268,727.00, to be funded by a Bond Issue to be approved by the Town of North Hempstead. Details of the various projects comprising the bond proposal are available at the District Office located at 24 West Shore Road, Roslyn, New York or on the District’s website at www.roslynwater.org. At said meeting, all parties are welcome, and the Board will hear all persons interested in said subject matter.

In advance of the District hearing, the Roslyn Water District will be holding Community Information Meetings via Zoom for the Proposed Water Supply Improvements on January 12, 2021 at 2 PM and at 7 PM.
Consumers interested in viewing the meetings are requested to register ahead of time.
